Chennai still lives outdoors. Commutes are long, junctions are dense, and a well-placed board can do what a feed impression never will: sit in someone’s eyeline for twenty minutes.
That does not mean every brand should buy OOH. In 2026 the medium works when the message is simple, the location matches the audience, and the creative is built for distance — not a cropped social post blown up.
We look at three things before we recommend it: route density, dwell time, and whether the campaign has a digital companion. A board without a search plan, a landing page, or a retargeting loop is a postcard. A board with those is a system.
If you are launching in Chennai, entering a new neighbourhood, or need to feel big fast, OOH is still worth it. If you need precise lead quality this week, start elsewhere and add outdoor when the story is sharp enough to hold a highway.
